After nearly two thousand years, some Jews are ready to remove the anathema around Jesus and make him kosher again.
We should recall what Jesus answered his Jewish followers in the Bible to the question about when will he be back? Here we learn that, as a precondition, he should first be accepted back, when time comes, by his large Jewish family: in Matthew 23:39 – “For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’”, in Luke 13:35 – “Look, your house is left to you desolate. I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.'”.
For many centuries, Judaism has considered Yeshua (AKA Jesus of Nazareth) to be taboo and prohibited within Judaism. Now, with help from his rabbi, Ariel Cohen Alloro, through his Facing-Each-Other initiative, is working to remove this anathema and bring Jesus back to the Jewish people in a completely kosher and rabbinic way.
Ariel is a Hasidic Orthodox Jew from Jerusalem. His rabbi is one of highest authorities in Judaism, whom Ariel describes as the greatest rabbi in the world today.
We must note that the Facing-Each-Other initiative is a 100% pure Jewish Orthodox initiative and it has no connection whatsoever with the Messianic, missionary, or Christian movements. It is a unique, stand-alone grassroots movement with the prophetic vision and goals stated in this intro.
Ariel plans to perform a Jewish ceremony of Redemption of the Firstborn Son (Pidyon haBen) with his rabbi that will reverse the selling of Jesus that occurred nearly 2,000 years ago, when Judas (AKA Yehuda) unjustly sold him to the priests for 30 pieces of silver. The priests at that time turned Jesus over to the Romans, who then crucified him. These events are akin to what happened to Joseph in the book of Genesis, when Judah (Yehuda) and the rest of his brothers sold him for 20 pieces of silver. It is understood rabbinical that the exile and slavery in Egypt transpired due to this betrayal.
The historic ceremony allows Ariel’s Rabbi to essentially undo this transaction by officially paying a significant amount of money to a Jewish priest (Ariel is a Cohen, priest) on behalf of the Jewish people in order to receive Yeshua back. In this way, Ariel and his rabbi will initiate the legal return of Jesus back to the Jewish people.
Everything about this process is completely kosher. Long deliberations have gone into the planning and preparations for this to occur.
After the ceremony, Ariel Cohen Alloro will stage a retrial of Jesus with the 10 greatest rabbis, where Yeshua will be officially re-examined, exonerated of any guilt and have his image and personality completely cleaned by Judaism at large.
Ultimately, he should be declared innocent or at least end up in a ‘hung jury,’ where the Jewish people across the world will then have the real option of deciding who Yeshua was—with the official approval of Judaism. There will no longer be any taboo or prohibition against Yeshua, if the rabbis agree.
The greatest obstacle for this process is the initial funding for the transaction. In order to “buy Yeshuaʿ back” from the priesthood, Ariel’s rabbi will be using $2 million dollars. Apparently, this is an enormous sum, but the implications for this historic event make it worth the amount. The reasons behind the exact number are many and have to do with Jewish symbolism, which Ariel explains in detail in many of his video teachings online: www.facingeachother.com . This is a huge obstacle that must be overcome, if the ceremony is to proceed.
